Survey results

1. The survey results show that:

-People agree that board games are interesting
-People agree that board games are for all ages
-People strongly agree that climate change is important
-People agree that board games are effective in education
-People strongly agree that everyone has a part to play in climate change

-People still play board games
-People believe there is a way to prevent climate change

-People say a good board game must be interesting and fun
-People believe climate change would cause a rise in temperature and the sea level would increase as well
-People like games like monopoly and snakes and ladder

2.I find that majority of people still play board games, which is a plus point in our project.Apart from that, most people seem to be aware of climate change though they do not seem to be really understand it very well. Also, classical games like monopoly seems to be the most attractive genre of board games.

3.I will try my best to help people understand climate change properly, but by using fun and entertaining board games using the right elements, only then people will become more aware of the environment and take action to prevent climate change.

4.I intend to use the survey results to tweak the game's aspects, make it more fun and educational all, so that the game is not only interesting, but meaningful. Aside from that, using the results, we can modify the games structure and gamely to fit something more liked by the public.

Week 9 2E 3 Reflection

Andre Tan 2E 3
we have started our production of our materials already, we have also planned specifically who is in charge of who through votes and balloting
We have first used a soft type of cardboard but found out that it was not suitable, therefore, we used a type of cardboard that comes from a shoe box kind of material.
and implemented it, however, a shoe box is too small, therefore, we decided to go to any convenient super market and get large boxes for free, also we will save cost as that will be a sort of a base for our final product.

Week 6 reflection Aloysius Phneah

CLASS: 2E NAME OF MEMBER: Aloysius Phneah DATE: 27/2/2010

What have we done so far?
The materials are being gathered, however due to quality related issues it is hard to find a suitable cardboard that does not bend or break. A draft model was originally in work but due to the quality of the cardboard, which breaks easily, there were some problems creating the draft model. As for research, everything is roughly finished. Presentation has not been done yet.

What do we want to do next?
Find solution to problem, create project finish and do the presentation slides.

What have we learnt?
It is important to plan on the project to ensure everything goes smoothly as planned. It is also important to manage your time so that everything could be completed in time.
